The training is based on the findings of the ANU project “Political Action by Young People.” In collaboration with environmental education centers throughout Germany, the ANU conducted workshops in which young people could develop political agency—going beyond individual behavioral changes and aiming to help shape societal structures. The topics that interested the participants served as a guide. For some, for example, it was the bus, which they wanted to run more frequently; for others, it was the cafeteria food, which they wanted to offer more sustainable options.
