Judence Kayitesi survived the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda in 1994 as an 11-year-old child. In Germany, she has published the books Ein zerbrochenes Leben and Choosing Resilience.

The documentary filmmaker Divine Umulisa Gashugi (pseudonym Tete Loeper) from Rwanda focuses
migration, decolonization and intercultural competence in her work The Face of Resilience.

At CORDIALE, the two will talk about their work, read and show their works.
