SCHOOL VISIT EUROPE is a performance that can be transported in hand luggage and comes closer to us than the big ideas usually do. What is Europe? Is it a geographical border, a cultural identity, a union of states? Europe, it is repeatedly stated, is most likely a constantly changing idea - too theoretical to be experienced by the individual as a reality of life. Rimini Protokoll contrasts this abstract European idea with the reality of a classroom. The audience becomes part of a production that interweaves personal stories and the mechanisms of political Europe. How much Europe is there in a classroom?

To mark this year's elections to the European Parliament, we are bringing this interactive performance format by the renowned theater collective Rimini Protokoll into classrooms in May and June.

On election day, Sunday, June 9, we are offering a version of SCHULBESUCH EUROPA for all age groups.
