Time for new beginnings.
The Olivia Trummer Trio explores boundaries and feels its way into pop with the means and values of jazz. In a brand new song program, catchy melodies meet spontaneous inventiveness, musical virtuosity meets grooves that can be enjoyed from head to toe. The new songs tell of unexpected forks in the road of life, of love that is able to dissolve space and time. It is music that invites you to see the world with new, open eyes.

The German pianist, singer and composer Olivia Trummer is one of the most interesting jazz musicians of her generation. She uses her keys and voice to create new connections between genres, for which she has already received numerous awards. Her years spent studying in New York City and her close relationship with classical music have always served as sources of inspiration. She is active on stages worldwide as a bandleader of her own projects and as a member of Kurt Rosenwinkel's "Caipi" band.
Jazzwise Magazine (UK) writes: "Trummer's music sarges the same sense of joyousness and wonder as that of her contemporary, Esperanza Spalding." (Peter Quinn / jazzwise magazine).

With Makar Novikov from Moscow, the Olivia Trummer Trio features one of the best-known Russian jazz double bassists. As an experienced accompanist and virtuoso soloist, he has played with Jimmy Cobb, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath and James Spaulding, for example, and appears regularly with Alex Sipiagin, Antonio Faraò, Chico Freeman and Isfar Sarabski. Stranded on tour in Italy with only one suitcase during the outbreak of the war, he now lives in northern Italy, teaches at the Siena Jazz University and can be seen as a lucky newcomer to the European jazz scene.
The versatile American drummer and multi-instrumentalist Earl Harvin from Texas is known for his collaborations and tours with Seal, Jeff Beck, Damien Rice and Air and is cited by Ari Hoenig, among others, as a formative influence. His playing is as versatile as the spectrum of his collaborations, characterized by a special intensity - even in the softest pianissimo - and a pronounced feel for grooves that "dress" a song perfectly.
