Kronenviertel and Freiau (guided tour)

In cooperation with VISTAtour and the ARGE Freiburger Stadtbild (Freiburg Cityscape Consortium), the tour takes you along the Kronenmühl Canal to the former Kronenviertel quarter near the Kronenbrücke bridge. The history of this old settlement center of the Wiehre has been little researched to this day, and only a few relics remind us of its former state. The tour continues via the free settlement, which was hotly contested during the squatting era, to the Kronenmatten area and the medieval site of the Gutleuthaus. - Registration required.
