Calligraphy and poetry: Art Nouveau script meets haiku

We will practise Art Nouveau writing with pencil, fineliner, pointed and ornamental nibs and finally with the ribbon pen. We will also do various word and writing exercises in order to finally create our own haiku (a small three-line poem). Between the writing exercises, we will try out small designs again and again. 5 euros will be charged for materials (handout and paper) and will be settled directly with the course instructor on site. Penholders and nibs can be purchased from the instructor on site and paid for directly. All other materials as well, but please register at least 2 weeks before the start of the course at: birgit@atelierschriftbild.de

Course leader: Gramsch, Birgit. The course instructor is a freelance calligrapher with a studio for classical and experimental calligraphy, commissioned work and courses. Since 2016, she has been traveling throughout Germany to attend courses with renowned calligraphers.more at Instagram birgitgramsch and www.atelierschriftbild.de
