Ferdinand Lutz, Dominik Merscheid: Polle Live - Comic reading (from 6 years)

Children love comics! In keeping with the best French tradition, it is increasingly being recognized in this country that comics are not only fun, but also make reading easier - and their artistic and thematic diversity is just as captivating as their little fans.

Comic illustrator and publisher Ferdinand Lutz scored a surprise coup in 2018 with POLLE, a comic magazine for children. Since then, Péridot-Verlag has been publishing brand-new stories by artists from all over the world twice a year: "There is currently no better introduction to reading comics for children in Germany," says Andreas Platthaus (FAZ).

With voices, sounds, music and animations, Ferdinand Lutz and musician Dominik Merscheid present comic strips: What happens in the mind when reading a comic happens today - on the occasion of the nationwide Children's Comic Book Day - on the Literaturhaus stage.
