A journey through time with Kurt Tucholsky - homage to a daredevil - reading concert with Robert Stadlober and Daniel Moheit

Hundred-year-old texts that seem to get closer by the hour. Melodies overlaid by musician and actor Robert Stadlober. Line after line wanders into the ear, through the head, into the present. Thoughts about the impossibilities of human interaction, in matters of love and hate. About the senselessness of violence and the hopelessness of politics that seeks to communicate itself through violence. About the longing for the right life and the struggle of the many for a small piece of the big picture.

He has already spoken, sung and acted texts by Friedrich Hölderlin, Stefan Heym and Christian Geissler at the Literaturhaus. Today, Robert Stadlober and Daniel Moheit (accordion) will be performing Kurt Tucholsky in the series "Hommage an eine(n) Waghalsige(n)". The album for the evening will be released in summer, the book shortly by Verbrecher Verlag.
