Three concerts in which the trumpet and flugelhorn (played by Stephen Altoft) are presented as duo partners: in three different constellations with string instruments - cello, viola and violin - as well as with vibraphone.

The second concert on June 9 will be with percussionist Lee Ferguson. He and Stephen Altoft have been playing as duo Contour since 1998. Among other things, they will perform a world premiere by the British percussionist and composer Martin Bright.

Different transcriptions of Bartok's violin duos connect the three concerts and lead the audience through arrangements, improvisations and compositions from early Baroque to the present day.
