Tree excursion in the Sternwald forest

Trees provide us with wood, filter the air, supply oxygen and provide shade. They provide a home for a variety of animals and offer us protection and comfort. On this excursion, you will learn about the most important local trees and how to identify them botanically. You will learn about their specific uses in folk medicine and which parts of the trees are still sold in pharmacies today. Which leaves and flowers are edible and can enrich the kitchen? During the excursion, you will have the opportunity to create a tree-leaf herbarium. Please bring along: Notebook or booklet, pencil and sticky tape. The excursion takes place in all weathers.
