What inspires the artist Dave Grossmann in his creative process? How did the title of the exhibition "Falling, Folding and Inbetween" come about? And what is the relationship between his work and Concrete Art?
We cordially invite you to join curator Isabelle von Marschall and artist Dave Grossmann in an artist talk to explore these questions and discover the background to the works on display.
The morning will be accompanied musically by David Auli Morales (*1992) on drums, who will interpret Dave Grossmann's art. Auli Morales, trained at the renowned Venezuelan "El Sistema", was a member of the Caracas Symphony Orchestra until 2016 and toured internationally. His artistic focus is on music theater, electronic music and improvisation. He has also founded several ensembles, including Tammarriata, the Duo Intakt and the Clash Trio. David Auli Morales has been awarded the Deutschlandstipendium from the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg and a scholarship from the Helene Rosenberg Foundation several times for his outstanding musical work.
