Like an ever-flowing stream

As if cast from a single mold—or rather, a flowing stream of blood—this powerful underground lineup will take the stage exclusively here at ArTik.

South American thrash metal roughness awaits you with CRITICAL DEFIANCE. With “Rivers of Blood,” the Chileans are releasing their fourth album, which will once again catapult you into the afterlife with aggressive, fast, and precisely controlled thrash metal.

As if that weren’t bloody enough, CRITICAL DEFIANCE have also teamed up with their labelmates from DET on a special project: the split LP “Bloodsurge” will be released right in time for the tour, with both bands contributing four songs each.

And that brings us right to the Finns from DET. These guys from Helsinki are all about a raw mix of speed and black metal. DEAF AID’s fourth studio album is on the way! In this “ever-flowing stream,” the new material will be presented live for the first time, though a few older bangers are, of course, a must.

And get ready—the band has matured like a damn good, old wine. It goes down a treat. The only ones missing now are the newcomers from EMISSARY in Barcelona. Thematically, they focus on cosmic horror, delivered via a fierce thrash/death metal onslaught. Yet even in this riff-heavy endeavor, they never neglect a certain melodic edge.
