Information Session for Homeowners

Fewer and fewer buildings in Germany are currently undergoing energy-efficiency renovations. This not only leads to reduced comfort and an unfavorable indoor climate, but also to high heating costs. At the same time, heat protection is becoming increasingly important. Energy-efficient renovations can help reduce energy consumption and costs, improve indoor comfort, and keep buildings pleasantly cool even on hot days. Freiburg wants to address this issue: With a “renovation sprint,” homes can be modernized in just a few days. The Regio Freiburg Energy Agency (EARF) is looking for homeowners in Freiburg, Emmendingen, or the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district who want to retrofit their homes at a rapid pace and is offering training sessions and information evenings for this purpose. The information session for homeowners is free of charge. Information and registration are available online via the Energieagentur Regio Freiburg website.

The “Renovation Sprint” initiatives are carried out by the Regio Freiburg Energy Agency on behalf of the City of Freiburg. The “Renovation Sprint” is funded by state funds approved by the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament.
