Dies Romani - Roman Festival

Hello! As early as the 4th century, the Upper Rhine region was a border area: where France and Germany meet today, Romans and Alemanni once lived side by side. That’s why, on the weekend of September 26–27, we’re celebrating the world of the Romans and Alemanni at the end of antiquity.

Here’s what you can expect at the festival:

- Legionary groups MILITES EXPLORATORES, HERCULIANI SENIORES, and HERCULIANI IUNIORES with military demonstrations and a look at camp life
