On the trail of migratory birds

Every fall, the skies are a hive of activity: thousands of migratory birds leave their breeding grounds and head for their winter quarters. Bird migration is a fascinating natural spectacle that continues to puzzle scientists. How do the birds manage to master their long journeys? In addition to this question, the lecture is dedicated to some special bird species such as the cuckoo, long-eared owl, bee-eater, swift and hoopoe.
