What we offer you
The Welcome Center Südlicher Oberrhein is pleased to be able to offer you this exciting and important presentation with an interactive workshop in the rooms of the Chamber of Crafts free of charge and in person.
In view of the shortage of skilled workers, the recruitment of international skilled workers and trainees from Germany and abroad will be decisive for the economic success of most companies in our region in the long term. For this reason, we are particularly inviting company managers and employees with personnel responsibility who would like to attract, retain or successfully integrate internationally oriented specialists and trainees.
In this workshop, you will learn what constitutes culture and how it influences our behavior in the workplace. Important basics of intercultural communication, in particular the topic of perception, are vividly conveyed through amazing and eye-opening exercises. In addition, different behaviors in selected target cultures are compared and contrasted with our own.
The following questions are also addressed:
- What role does cultural influence play in job interviews?
- How do I give constructive feedback while taking the intercultural dimension into account?
- Which management style suits which cultures?
As guest speakers we welcome Mr. Alexander Wurz, founder of Open-i-Consulting, lecturer at German and French universities and sought-after guest speaker at lectures for business representatives and journalists throughout Europe.
