Freiburg University Choir summer concert "A dark shaft is love"

Under the title "Ein dunkler Schacht ist Liebe" (Brahms, Liebeslieder-Walzer, Op. 52), we will take you on a musical journey through the romantic and classical periods of choral singing at our summer concert.
You can expect a varied program of lively, cheerful and movingly dramatic works, which we have rehearsed under the direction of our choirmaster Eduard Wagner. In addition to Brahms' love song waltzes, we will present a selection of familiar but also lesser-known opera choruses, which will take you through the epochs of this genre, from Purcell to Mozart and Rossini to Wagner.
Admission is free, donations are requested. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests at our multifaceted summer concert.
