Practical introduction to pruning fruit trees

Fruit trees fulfill an important function in the city. They blossom and produce fruit - and thus provide food and pleasure for insects and humans.
In order to preserve the trees, they must be professionally cared for. As part of "Freiburg packt an", the Garden and Civil Engineering Office (GuT) offers two free introductory courses on pruning fruit trees under professional guidance.
The courses take place on the areas with public fruit tree sponsorships in two parts of the city:
- Friday, January 31, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Dietenbachpark
- Saturday, February 15, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in St. Georgen
Registration with "Freiburg packt an" at fpa@stadt.freiburg.de is required.
The number of participants is limited.
