Green wood workshop: Shrink-Pot-Course

The special manufacturing technique of "shrink pots" is once again enjoying great popularity, particularly in England and Sweden. Participants make these shrink pots sustainably without glue, nails or screws by inserting a dried base into fresh wood and using the shrinkage of the wood as it dries. Pencil holders, toothbrush cups, drying vases and other beautiful containers are created in a relaxed atmosphere.

The instructor Matthis Berthold was trained at the Sätergläntan Institute for Traditional Arts and Crafts in Sweden.
