New edition for Freiburger wine summer starting from 4 August - wine-growing enterprises and old guard present themselves
The Freiburg Wine Summer gets a new edition on the Münsterplatz. The former wine tasting has now become a wine summer after the success of last year. Thus, Freiburg's wineries and the Alte Wache (Old Guard) are now once again inviting visitors to experience the wines and sparkling wines from Freiburg's vineyards at the Historisches Kaufhaus (Historic Department Store) starting on August 4. This year, the wineries have 20 wines and sparkling wines ready for the guests to taste. The Alte Wache will of course also be there with its wines and with the Kalte Sofie.
The catering of the visitors takes over a la minute Rainer Stalf with small dishes.
Open every evening from 6 p.m. until midnight with the exception of August 15 (church feast day). Last event day this year is August 21, 2022.
And from Wednesday to Saturday, musical entertainment is provided at the Wine Summer.
The opening takes place on Thursday, among others, with the Baden Wine Princess Geraldine Liebs from Freiburg-Opfingen at 7 pm.
