Vacation program: Insect summer

After a researcher training session in the museum, children aged between 7 and 11 will search around the forest house (WaldHaus) for anything with six legs. We want to find out which insects live here in Freiburg and how to tell them apart. Those who are particularly adept at catching and identifying the little creatures will be awarded a Heupferdchen badge at the end. Participation costs 5 euros. The meeting point is the ticket office of the Museum Natur und Mensch (Natural History Museum), Gerberau 32. The event ends at the forest house (WaldHaus) Freiburg, Wonnhaldestraße 6. Please bring weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, a drink, a snack and a signed consent form. Please give your child the participation fee in cash. Participants will need a valid public transport ticket for the journey from Bertold's Fountain to Wonnhalde. Registration is required by Tuesday, August 12 at museumspaedagogik@freiburg.de.
