Grand opening of the new Roman playground in Colombi Park

After intensive planning, a dedicated fundraising campaign and extensive construction work, the new Colombini Roman playground and the associated fountain in Colombi Park have now been completed. This marks the completion of the redesign of Colombi Park - another step towards enhancing Freiburg's city center.

This special project will be officially opened on Monday, May 5, from 3 pm. Everyone is cordially invited to the inauguration - especially children and families, but also anyone who is interested in and committed to a lively and liveable city center.

The playground is the result of exemplary civic engagement: Initiated back in 2018, the project was supported by the efforts of the local city centre association and realized through a successful fundraising campaign. The project therefore not only stands for a better quality of stay, but also for the strength of community action.

The opening offers an opportunity to get to know the newly designed park and playground in a relaxed atmosphere and to celebrate together.
