We, the Ensemble LouisE, a young symphony orchestra made up of musicians from Freiburg, meet once a year to perform Beethoven's orchestral works together. With our love for this music, we are driven by the question of how it can reach a wide audience and inspire many people today and in the future. With our third project, we are continuing this search, looking forward to engaging in conversation with you and offering an unforgettable concert evening. This year's program includes the famous 3rd Symphony "Eroica", with which Beethoven moves further away from the courtly musical tradition of Viennese Classicism, on the way to an emotional romantic musical language.
The Piano Concerto No. 3 also represents a turning point: Soloist and orchestra enter into a symphonic dialog as equal partners.
