MUNDOLOGIA: Lotta's new adventures - 3 donkeys in the Balkans

She is an audience favorite at MUNDOLOGIA - and we are delighted that she is back with us with her brand new presentation: Lotta Lubkoll inspires with her zest for life, humor and a very special travel companion - donkey Jonny. In her latest adventure, she travels through the wild, untamed nature of the Balkans together with her husband Stefan and their faithful four-legged friend.

From Montenegro via the Prokletije Mountains to Albania, the three of them experience a journey full of surprises: impassable rivers, wild horses, curious cows, steep mountain paths, dangerous guard dogs - and even a man who wants to buy Jonny the donkey at any price. There is also a forest fire, bear tracks, police checks on a smuggler's trail and a stubborn case of food poisoning.

But in addition to all the challenges, they encounter great hospitality, warm-hearted locals and even homemade donkey milk. Lotta takes the audience on a journey full of contrasts - wild, warm, funny and moving.

What began in 2017 with a crossing of the Alps has long since become a journey of a lifetime: Donkey Jonny has gone from being a pack animal to an equal hiking partner and permanent family member with his own place in the Tinyhouse. Lotta always plans her tours "Jonny-friendly" - with a lot of mindfulness, fairness and donkey expertise.
