Jan & Henry 2 - A new case for the meerkats

The sensation is perfect!

Theater Lichtermeer has been on the road with the big stage show of "Jan & Henry" since 2018 and has delighted many thousands of little and big meerkat fans in hundreds of performances. Now it's time for a new case for the meerkats.

From October 2023, the two popular track and sound seekers will be on a major tour of Germany with another stage show.

This time, the story takes them to Piepenschlöns Castle. Strange things are going on there and Jan & Henry have to solve many mysteries. But the biggest mystery is the legend of an old treasure that the castle's inhabitants are feverishly searching for in order to prevent the impending sale of their indebted home. The brothers also meet Krokodella there.

Find out what role she plays in the mystery and whether the two sleuths will succeed in finding the treasure in our new musical for the whole family. A six-member ensemble plays, dances and sings for you in this unmistakable mix of people, puppets and great music, typical of Theater Lichtermeer, in a fun and exciting adventure.

After the performance you can get very close to Jan & Henry and get autographs and photos from the meerkats and the other performers in the foyer.

With the kind permission of and in collaboration with Martin Reinl, who invented and developed the characters "Jan & Henry" for the TV channel "KIKA".

Martin Reinl (Puppenstars/RTL, Woozle Goozle/SuperRTL, Zimmer frei/WDR) is passionate about his work.

He has received numerous awards for his creativity, including the Goldener Spatz, Der weiße Elefant and Emil children's media awards, as well as several Grimme Prize nominations.

Timo Riegelsberger and Jan Radermacher are responsible for the stage version of Theater Lichtermeer.

As artistic director, Timo Riegelsberger is responsible for the text, music and staging. He is also the director.

Jan Radermacher works for Theater Lichtermeer as an author, puppet maker and illustrator. He also writes the music for the musicals together with Timo Riegelsberger.

Play lasts approx. 90 minutes plus interval. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
