5th BIOTECH Conference 2025 - Single-Use Technologies for Bio-Based Applications

The 5th BIOTECH Conference is a continuation of the well-known conference series held at ZHAW in Wädenswil until 2019. Now, the conference will succeed in a new venue in Freiburg / Breisgau (Germany) between June 16th and 18th, 2025.

We are aiming to stimulate interactions/collaborations between academia and industry in the field of single-use technologies for bio-based applications.

This time, focus areas of the conference will be:

- bioprocess development and manufacture with single-use technology for biotherapeutics, cell- and gene therapeutics and cellular agricultural products
- process analytical technologies for single-use devices
- device features and facility design
- materials and sustainability assessments

Aside from novel trends in established applications, we also look forward for contributions from fields in which single-use technology as option is just evolving.
