From the father Bach, as a representative of the High Baroque, the program spans an arc over his sons WILHELM FRIEDEMANN, CARL PHILIPP EMANUEL, JOHANN CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH and JOHANN CHRISTIAN, who each developed their own unique musical and compositional style, and thus brings to life the many stylistic facets of music at the transition between the Baroque and Classical periods.
