Workshop based on the Veto Principle® according to Maike Plath

We live in a world in which polarization and enemy stereotypes are on the rise. Time and again, it seems as if we have to choose sides and then be against the others. As a result, rifts between groups of people are becoming ever deeper and understanding ever more difficult: How can I feel myself without losing sight of others? How can I perceive others without losing sight of myself? How can I act on the basis of my values in this increasingly complex world and clearly say "no" in connection with others? The workshop also offers an initial insight into the Veto Principle®, a concept for equal leadership that uses the "democratic leadership joker" to create equality and make diversity visible. The concept is suitable for all people who want to put the values of self-responsibility, equality and diversity into practice in their private and/or professional lives, practising a loving view of ourselves and others in various games involving cognition, emotion and the body. It can be easy and fun. No prior knowledge is required, just a desire to meet yourself and others.

Course leader: Matern, Judith. The course leader works as a teacher and freelance veto trainer. She has been active in education policy for many years with the vision of real equal opportunities that aim for diversity and not conformity to a norm.
