Advice for volunteer children's group leaders.
What do bumblebees and butterflies have in common? Which nectar plants are particularly attractive to bumblebees and butterflies? How can children be introduced to the diversity and interrelationships of animals and plants and what practical steps can childcare workers take with their children's groups to preserve these particularly endangered species? These and other questions will be discussed during this advisory service. After a short tour of the organic garden with its wildflower meadows, play activities, materials and concepts for implementation in environmental education practice will be presented. In the spirit of collegial consultation, participants can also share their own experiences. A book table rounds off the program.
