Wine tasting - The Kiefer winery presents its wines

Friedrich Kiefer founded the winery named after him in 1851 and initiated his winemaking success in the Kaiserstuhl region.

Since 2008, Helen and Martin Schmidt have continued the success story as owners of Weingut Friedrich Kiefer.
For the couple, wine is their hobby, profession and passion at the same time. "Wine / Style / Performance" is the motto under which they run the winery so successfully.

The Schmidts grow grapes in Eichstetten in a nature reserve. The Kaiserstuhl has become a nature reserve because winegrowers like Schmidts practice responsible nature conservation through viticulture.
