Terms such as disruption, crisis or catastrophe are used to describe the present as a time of upheaval. In the face of deep cuts, however, continuities that shape everyday experiences, through which institutions, social structures and power relations are stabilized and reproduced, can be lost sight of. The exhibition What goes on looks at continuities - at routines, work processes, habits and rituals. They are embedded in social orders, which are also reflected in visual relationships: How are supposedly uninvolved viewers entangled in violent continuities?
