What sustains us. Spirituality in the care of people with dementia

A seminar on the topic of spirituality in the care of people with dementia will take place on Thursday, October 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Catholic Academy in Freiburg, Wintererstr. 1.

Speakers Geertje Bolle and Katrin Albroscheit from the Spiritual Centre for People with Dementia, Berlin, will explore the question of how the spiritual needs of people with dementia can be recognized and met. They will report on their experiences and work with the participants to develop strategies for implementing them in their own practice. The seminar is aimed at anyone who accompanies people with dementia, whether professionally, as a volunteer or as a relative.

The seminar is being held in cooperation with the FORUM älterwerden and the Inclusion - Generations Department of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Care Office in Freiburg and as part of the Palliative Care Forum, an initiative of the Archdiocese of Freiburg.
