From monastery to college: The Kartaus then and now (guided tour)

In cooperation with VISTAtour and ARGE Freiburger Stadtbild - The former Carthusian monastery in the Waldsee district is a world of its own: since 2014, the United World College has been implementing an innovative school concept aimed at international understanding that fills the historic buildings with new life. During the guided tour, you will spend two hours immersing yourself in the centuries-old history of the monastery together with UWC students and staff, gain an insight into the colorful everyday life of 200 scholarship holders from 90 countries and get to know the charming grounds around the buildings and the historic monastery garden. - Registration required.
