Our open-air cinema is a wonderful opportunity to be enchanted by the magic of a movie on warm summer evenings. In an idyllic setting in the open air, surrounded by the beautiful scenery around Freiburg, a unique atmosphere is created.
This year, we have once again chosen some very special and unusual locations.

Be it chilled drinks on a balmy summer night or freshly made, fragrant popcorn - your physical well-being will be sufficiently catered for during the evening.

Top Gun: Maverick

Due to his problems with authority, flying ace Maverick (Tom Cruise) never managed to make it big in the Navy. Instead of medals, he was able to collect disciplinary proceedings. After he overshoots the mark again, he is unceremoniously transferred to his old elite flying school Top Gun. There he is to prepare the young pilots, including Rooster (Miles Teller), the son of his deceased best friend Goose (Anthony Edwards), for a mission that is actually impossible to accomplish: the heavily protected nuclear program of a foreign country must be destroyed. Less than three weeks are left to prepare. Maverick now has his hands full trying to form the best graduates of recent years into a team so that the mission doesn't turn into a suicide mission.
