Vernissage with Birgit Weyhe and Jens Burde: Rude Girl - Tour and aperitif

Welcome to the grand finale of our "Outside the Box" series: The exhibition "Rude Girl" stages the multi-award-winning graphic novel by artist Birgit Weyhe (Avant Verlag, 2022) as a walk-in comic. Floating between the ceiling and floor, Weyhe's panels unfold the extraordinary biography of Black German studies professor Priscilla Layne. Comic cinema, reading lounge, hands-on stations and vinyl records invite visitors to make further discoveries.

To kick off the 10-day show, Birgit Weyhe and scenographer Jens Burde will guide visitors through the transformed Literaturhaus.
