"Christmas, why can't I find you?" sings little Cindy Lou Who in the classic Christmas movie THE GRINCH. She is not alone in asking this question. In our Christmas concert, a little angel and the janitor of the theater will once again use their playlists to find out how we celebrate Christmas and what we expect from this holiday. It won't be easy, because tastes are different. So are traditions. And so are Christmas carols. But somewhere between kitsch, commercialism and the Christ child, we will find our way to Christmas. The little angel will not only be supported by the Philharmonic Orchestra, but also by the youth and children's choir, a sign language choir that sings with its hands, members of the opera choir will help with the baking and Rudi Ratte will be back on the sidelines. Hallelujah! We recommend this concert for families with children aged 6 and over. For younger children, we offer our ADVENT SINGING (3+) in the Winterer Foyer.
