And tomorrow the whales go on strike

The news hits the coastal town like a storm: ten whales have beached themselves in the bay. Even 16-year-old Mel rushes to the beach. There must be something she can do! But the emergency services send her away: all the whales are dead, they say. But Mel refuses to be put off. Anger rages inside her: Who is to blame for the disaster? Nature? Man? The underwater noise that is confusing the animals? She knows one thing for sure: she only counted nine whales on the beach - the tenth must still be out there. Without further ado, Mel climbs into a small boat, sets off on an adventurous rescue mission and confronts urgent questions about the environment and climate change.
