Ensemble Maurice

Trio Maurice was founded in 2017 by pianist Aymara Cubas, violinist Lisa Immer and cellist Gesine Queyras. The three musicians, who began their musical training as young students at the Freiburg University of Music and later studied with world-famous teachers at music institutions in New York, Paris and Vienna, have set themselves the goal of combining their wealth of experience in the piano trio formation.

The members of Trio Maurice have already performed on the world's greatest stages, including in the field of historical performance practice with renowned orchestras, as well as in various chamber music ensembles.

In its multifaceted interpretations of the masterful piano trio literature, Trio Maurice combines finely differentiated playing with pure joy in music-making and true dedication.
