The Big Easy Gators (CH)

The music of the Big Easy Gators is relaxed, lively, rousing, surprising and varied. It is pure immersion in the world of the New Orleans myth. The Crescend City has a southern atmosphere, where life is more intense, more colorful, louder, more humorous and more tolerant.

The city has its own style and cultural mix, its own cuisine, language, its own laws and festivals and above all: its very own music!

This is exactly what the Big Easy Gators, the Swiss band led by pianist Daniel Breitenstein, will be presenting at the start of the Blues Festival. Their repertoire includes blues, boogie-woogie and rock'n'roll, sensitive ballads and gospels, cheerful mardi gras, Dixi and funky brass band grooves, covering a wide range of musical styles.

With this exciting mix, the lightness and joie de vivre from Louisiana are guaranteed to be felt by all listeners in the Markthalle (market hall). Watch out: the famous spark will fly!
