Teen sewing course, from 12 years

Would you like to tailor your own clothes? Mend, re-sew or spice things up? Or sew bags and rucksacks? Then this course is a good place to start - even if you've never sat at a sewing machine before. To warm up with the sewing machine, you can start by sewing a magnetic pincushion. This will teach you how to sew straight along an edge, start in the right place and stop again. If you already have the sewing machine under control, you can start your own project straight away. If you want to sew a completely new piece, please bring the appropriate pattern with you. And if you've only just started sewing, this might not be your masterpiece. If you are unsure, send me a drawing, sketch or picture of your desired project by email (beate@ideenhoch3.de). Then we can consider together whether it is feasible. Would you prefer to alter, re-sew or mend things? Then bring the parts with you. Please bring them with you: Possibly for the pincushion: 7 strips of fabric 5 x 12 cm each in different patterns, wadding, flat magnet, ø approx. 1.5 to 2 cm. Pattern (for your own project), fabric (pre-washed), sewing thread, paper scissors, fabric scissors, pins, tailor's chalk, tape measure, snack, drink. Sewing machines are available, but you are welcome to bring your own sewing machine and accessories (in perfect technical condition!).
