Search for truth

Free entry

On Thursday, March 13 at 7 pm, the documentary "Search for Truth" will celebrate its premiere at the Katholische Akademie Freiburg (Wintererstraße 1). The film is dedicated to the life's work of journalist, theologian and filmmaker Michael Albus. His reportages on social issues, including the work of leprosy doctor Ruth Pfau, and his ZDF cultural reportage on the holy mountains together with Reinhold Messner are particularly well known. These reports are not just documentaries, but also calls for humanity and action. In Freiburg, his films about the Freiburg Minster are particularly memorable.

The documentary by Petra Gaus and Joe Killi combines archive material with current conversations and offers an in-depth insight into the work of Albus. Following the 50-minute film screening, there will be an opportunity to talk to him in person. The event will also be broadcast via livestream. There will not be a subsequent video documentary.

Admission is free, donations are requested ("pay after"). Registration is possible at www.katholische-akademie-freiburg.de.
