The concert takes place as part of the final examinations in choral conducting.

The studio choir is the ensemble with which the choral conducting students rehearse and learn under the supervision and guidance of their professor. The studio choir concert marks the end of the semester's weekly work for the conductors and singers. Together, they present pieces that they have been working on during the semester and thus cover the entire spectrum of a cappella choral music with their program.
