Special concert with the Ensemble Berlin

The program includes works for oboe and/or clarinet plus string quartet, e.g.
the sextet for oboe, clarinet and string quartet by Eduard Herrmann - this composer (incidentally) comes from the Kaiserstuhl! The piece is very interesting and dates from the second half of the 19th century. There is also a concertino by an American composer (Marion Bauer). She lived from 1882 to 1955. The program is complemented by Mozart's Clarinet Quintet and a Divertimento by Grusel for oboe and string quartet and the witty Quartet for English horn and string trio by Jean Francaix.
