Joker beetle

Scherzkäfer are the duo Arjuna Hummert (drums/vocals) and Can-Bastian Paul (keys/vocals). Paul's lyrics and Hummert's beats defy any pigeonholing. A mixture of piano cabaret, hip-hop and melancholic soul feeds the energy of the young duo, which they bring to the stage. The two musicians could not be more different in their musical backgrounds. While Paul is a solo artist in cabaret and pop, Hummert plays in a metal band. In recent weeks, they have played Paul's new live program with band together on several stages in the area. At the Summerstage, they will play together for the first time as the duo "Scherzkäfer".
