"Look at me!" The search for the gaze

Free entry

On display are the paintings of Julia Elsässer-Eckert and the sculptures of Wolfgang Eckert. In the works of the artist couple, the expression of looking becomes a possible viewing space through the elaboration of the gaze, but also through its deliberate renunciation. Introductory words will be spoken by Freiburg theologian Clemens H. Wagner, and the recorder duo Eva Bauer and Maja Renzi will provide musical accompaniment to the opening.

The exhibition is open from September 23 to December 13, Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 6.45 p.m. and during the Academy's events.

The Catholic Academy of Freiburg invites you to the vernissage of the exhibition "Look at me!" by Julia Elsässer-Eckert and Wolfgang Eckert on Sunday, September 22, at 11 a.m. at Wintererstr. 1.

Admission is free. Registration at www.katholische-akademie-freiburg.de
