Season opener with colorful fan festival

There's a lot going on at Europa-Park Stadium this Saturday for Sport-Club's dress rehearsal against Osasuna. Everything you need to know at a glance.

While the season opener is the last test for Julian Schuster and his team from a sporting point of view before the start of the competitive season, for many fans it is also traditionally associated with the extensive supporting program.

The fan and family festival, which this year takes place in parking lot P4 behind the training pitches, starts at 11 a.m. and ends with the start of the match at 3:30 p.m. As usual, admission is free. Various food trucks will provide refreshments, while the partners' stands will offer hands-on activities and competitions. On stage, there will be an activity program for children, interviews and DJ music. Of course, the SC team bus will also be opening its doors for the fan and family festival.

Admission to the stadium begins at 13:30. The Bundesliga men's and women's teams will be presented here from 14:15. The SC women will also have their own autograph stand in P4 from 13:00 to 13:45, where autograph hunters can have their jerseys, scarves and other fan merchandise signed. Kick-off for the three 45-minute dress rehearsals against the Spanish first division team is at 3:30 pm.
