Rouge et Noir

The Ballhaus Freiburg and the Jack'n'Jill Lounge form the backdrop for a mysterious and eventful night. Let yourself be carried away into an unusual world of red and black, where you can dance and celebrate exuberantly, flirt devotedly or chat and enjoy in style.

You can expect high-class shows and sensual impressions in a spectacular ambience. We are especially looking forward to the Freiburg swing sextet "The Swingtones": They play in the classic small group swing sextet formation (double bass, drums, guitar, piano, trumpet and saxophone) the most popular swing standards in Lindy Hop circles by Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Fats Waller, Benny Goodman, Lionel Hampton, Chick Webb & Co. in the style of the 30s and 40s. Dancing to live music is always a very special feeling - whether alone or in pairs.

There are two ticket categories:
- "Rouge" - starting at 7:00 p.m. Champagne reception in the Jack'n'Jill Lounge, including finger food buffet and seating at the main program starting at 8:15 p.m.
- "Noir" - from 8:15 p.m. admission to the main program, strolling ticket.

The dance floors:
- MAIN FLOOR I - couple dancing until 23.00, followed by party music
- MAIN FLOOR II - "The Swingtones" live until 22.00, followed by Ballroom Classic couple dancing
- SILENT DISCO - Made in Germany - Party Classics - Charts & RnB

Good to know:
- Dresscode "Rouge et Noir" in evening dress: a black or red outfit with appropriate accessories will make you blend in with the scenery
- Checkroom compulsory, 1 € per person
