Spaces become places - architecture and landscape in dialog

The event will focus on the dialog between architecture and landscape, between designers and users and between the present and the future.

The two new members of the Freiburg Design Advisory Board - Ursula Hochrein, landscape architect and urban planner, and Valentin Ott, architect - will shed light on the topic using selected projects from their disciplines. Together, they will show how abstract spaces can be transformed into lively places that promote community, create identity and are sustainable at the same time.

The evening invites an open exchange on how we can design places in Freiburg and elsewhere that take up our ecological and social challenges and respond to them in a sustainable way.
