Joscha Kremsler, Bachelor's student in clarinet and former FAB preliminary student, won first prize in clarinet at the Werner Pirchner Competition in Austria. A total of 75 participants from 23 nations took part in the horn and clarinet competition.
The twin sisters Auguste and Ieva Petkūnaitė, Master's students, have not only won seven first prizes at international piano duo competitions, they also recently performed in Freiburg at the opening matinee of the Brahms Festival at Theater Freiburg and at the Mayor's local talk at the College of Music in Freiburg.
Niklas Jahn, a concert exam student in the subjects of organ and organ improvisation, will now take up the position of organist at the famous Frauenkirche in Dresden on December 1, 2024. This was reported on the ARD-Landesschau. This was preceded by numerous prizes and awards at competitions in Europe and Japan.
The program of the prizewinner's concert includes works by Bach, Rachmaninoff, Ravel (Rapsodie espagnole), Sarasate (Carmen Fantasy) and an improvised organ symphony.
