Information event with the Study and Exchange Advisory Service at the Carl-Schurz-Haus and Daniel Scharf, State University of New York.
Internships abroad are popular and sought-after, but also require long-term and intensive preparation. But it doesn't always have to be an internship - there are also alternatives for students.
In a short presentation, our Student and Exchange Advisory Service explains the most important steps to an internship/traineeship in the USA and gives tips on the search, visa issues and other hurdles along the way. There will also be information on alternative opportunities for students in the USA such as "Work and Travel", voluntary service or "Summer Programs". In addition, Daniel Scharf from the State University of New York will present his university's summer program.
